The Vicksburg Board of Mayor and Aldermen Thursday declared 30 more items of city property surplus and added them to the list of items for sale at the city’s Saturday auction.

City purchasing agent Tim Smith said the additions include furniture and smaller items that were found by city workers in the old street department warehouse on North Washington Street behind Klondyke, and a 2000 Ford Crown Victoria from the police department.

The city is selling 231 items, including a player piano, stretchers, 20 vehicles, and computers at the auction, which begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at Katzenmeyer’s Antiques and Pets on Washington Street near Lee. Smith said the items for sale will be on display starting at 8 a.m.
