A county man arrested by Warren County deputies Sunday on charges of auto burglary faced added charges Monday — these filed by Vicksburg police.

Jimmy Hart, 20, 171 Falk Steel Road, was charged by the Vicksburg Police Department with the theft earlier Sunday of a laptop computer and prescription drugs reported missing from cars in the 4100 block of North Frontage Road, said Lt. Bobby Stewart.

The items were found by deputies after Hart was arrested that morning in the 100 block of Old Highway 27 and charged by the county with auto burglaries along that road.

At the time of his arrest, Hart was on a $7,500 county bond posted after his arrest on Dec. 10. He had been charged on three auto burglaries, on Douglas Road, Alice Place and St. Patrick Street.

The sheriff’s office has asked the District Attorney’s Office to withhold bail, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said. Hart was in the Warren County Jail.
