A Vicksburg man was arrested Friday and charged with two counts of embezzlement in connection with the theft of 47 cases and six pallets of beer from Southern Beverage Co. on July 13, Vicksburg police Sgt. Sandra Williams said.

Andra Carter, age unavailable, 1612 Broadhill Drive, surrendered to Vicksburg police at 10:35 Friday morning, Williams said.

Carter was out of jail Friday night on $30,000 bond.

Roderick Burden, 37, 212 Rhodes Drive, and Darrell Rhodes, 38, 5638 Gibson Road, also were charged with embezzlement on July 13. Burden and Rhodes were released on $15,000 bonds.
