Vicksburg native Nancy Williams receives child advocacy honor

Vicksburg native Nancy Williams has received the Horowitz-Barker Professional Leadership Award from the National Children’s Alliance.
The award recognizes a professional who is dedicated to a local Children’s Advocacy Center. Williams has served as executive director for the Memphis Child Advocacy Center for about 20 years.
Williams is a graduate of H.V. Cooper High School and has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Mississippi. She has her master’s in counseling from the University of Memphis. She and her husband, Robert, live in Memphis.
