Golf tips on course at Welcome Center

The Mississippi Welcome Center, at Interstate 20 and Washington Street in Vicksburg, is aiming to promote the state’s golf courses with an event called Find Your True South in Golf.

Kathy Hester, a local golf instructor, will offer tips and distribute the state’s 2011 Golf Guide from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Friday and April 29.
