Clarence Walker

Services for Clarence Walker will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kings Empowerment Center with the Rev. Dexter Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 7 p.m. Friday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
Mr. Walker died Thursday, June 9, 2011, at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson. He was 96.
He was a veteran of World War II. He was retired from Anderson Tully Lumber Mill and a member of Triumphant Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Eva D. Walker; and three brothers, Eugene Walker, L.J. Walker and Charlie Walker.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy B. Walker; five sons, Willie Walker of Jackson and Billie Walker, Wayne Walker, Carl Walker and David Walker, all of Vicksburg; two daughters, Barbara Walker of Jackson and Flora Mae Hooker of Knoxville, Tenn.; 19 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
