Mr. and Mrs. Rickey Brown of Tallulah announce the engagement of their daughter, Jonette Michelle, to Michael “Kyle” Eaton of Vicksburg. Mr. Eaton is the son of Jenifer Barwick of Vicksburg and Mickey Eaton of Delhi, La.

Miss Brown is the granddaughter of William F. Brown of Tallulah and the late Georgia Ann Brown, John R. Gibbs and Kathleen Gibbs, all of Tallulah.

Mr. Eaton is the grandson of Robert and Lee Goss, Phyllis Pharr and Tom Kavanaugh, all of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe and Alcorn State University. She works as a registered nurse in Vicksburg.

The prospective groom is co-owner and operator for G&E Trackhoe and Dozer Services of Vicksburg. He has one daughter, Kylie Michelle Eaton.

Vows will be exchanged at 4 p.m. Sept. 24, 2011, at Tara Wildlife at Eagle Lake. All family and friends are invited to attend.

Following a honeymoon, the couple will make their home at Eagle Lake.
