The engagement of LaKiksha Shaunta Miller to Andrey Jarome Moore, both of Vicksburg, is announced today. Vows will be exchanged in a private ceremony at 4 p.m. April 23, 2011, at Vicksburg Convention Center. A reception will follow. Attendance is by invitation only.

Miss Miller is the daughter of Deborah Ann Miller and Elijah Johnson Jr. of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Clara Miller and the late Alex Miller Sr. and Elijah and Dorothy Johnson, all of Vicksburg.

Mr. Moore is the son of Velma Moore of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of the late Lillie Mae Bridges and the late Henry Bridges of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect attended Warren Central High School. She received a business degree from the University of Phoenix.

Miss Miller is a tax preparer.

The prospective groom attended Vicksburg High School. He received a business degree from the University of Phoenix.

Mr. Moore is a barber.
