PORT GIBSON — Lillie Mae Johnson died Friday, March 18, 2011, at Natchez Regional Medical Center in Natchez. She was 68.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George E. “Bates” Johnson; a son, Lamar Johnson; her parents, Dennis and Emma Reddick; and a brother, Rufus Reddick.

Survivors include her three sons, George Johnson and Tarvi Johnson, both of Lorman and Royal Johnson of Vicksburg; four daughters, Canary Mallory of Vicksburg, Dairy Johnson, Quiontesser Johnson and Sanquetta Johnson, all of Lorman; 24 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at China Grove M.B. Church in Russum with the Rev. Leon Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at McCay Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson Funeral Home and Thursday at the church from 1 p.m. until the service.
