Carson Brayden Lynn died Saturday, July 9, 2011, in Homer, La. He was 8.

He attended Porters Chapel Academy. He loved to hunt and fish and be outdoors riding his four-wheeler and being with his Papa Johnnie.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Beverly Whitley Nunn and Joe Nunn of Athens, La.; his father, Billy Lynn and Christi Prescott of Vicksburg; his maternal grandparents, Don and Paulette Whitley of Vicksburg; his brother, Brandon Lynn of Vicksburg; his paternal grandparents, Johnnie and Mary Lou Lynn of Vicksburg; his maternal great-grandmothers, Alice E. Whitley of Edwards and Bobbie Sue Hefner of D’Lo; five stepbrothers, Jacob Prescott and Boo Prescott, both of Vicksburg, James Adam Nunn of Jacksonville, Fla., Elijah Clark Nunn of Quitman and Blake David Nunn of Choudrant, La.; and one stepsister, Alexis Prescott of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Talbot officiating. Burial will follow at Yokena Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the service.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Prescott, Brandon Marshall, Steven Muirhead, Brandon Lynn, Michael Lynn, Jonathan Lynn, Gabby Hays and David Abernathy.
