Waller, Winpigler wed at Immanuel Baptist

Steven Christopher Waller and Amy Rebecca Winpigler were married at 6 p.m. March 19, 2011, at Immanuel Baptist Church. Billy Brumfield officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Kay Winpigler and the late Robert E. Winpigler of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. M.L. Graham of Laurel and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leo Winpigler of Lexington.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William L. Waller Jr. of Sulligent, Ala. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William L. Waller Sr. of Picayune and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd J. Achee Sr. of Gulfport.
Given in marriage by her mother, the bride’s chosen colors were brown and champagne. Music was presented by Shelia Hess, organist/pianist, and Joey and Pam McGill, soloists, from Laurel.
Matron of honor was Susan Alexander of Olive Branch. Bridesmaids were Sherra Barnes of Vicksburg, Lisa Winpigler of Laurel, Katie Gilbert of Gautier and Jaclyn Pomeroy of Olive Branch. Junior bridesmaid was Abigail Barnes of Vicksburg.
Bill Waller of Sulligent served as best man. Groomsmen were Jay Dunne of Birmingham, Ala.; Casey Gilbert of Gautier; Patrick Gosa of Sulligent; and Joey Pomeroy of Olive Branch. Junior groomsmen were Barrington Barnes of Vicksburg and Caleb Winpigler of Laurel.
Ushers were Trey Winpigler and Benjamin Winpigler, both of Laurel.
Flower girl was Jenna Alexander of Olive Branch. Colton Gilbert of Gautier served as ring bearer.
A reception followed in the Activities Building at the church. Hosts were Martha Almond, Jenny Carruth, Carol Cooper, Cindy Collins, Wandra Evans, Helen Goss, Nan Hathorn, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hardy, Joyce Hillard, Evelyn Jones, Brenda Lucasm, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Godwin, Cheryl Martin, Paulette Minor, Vanessa Nicholson, Teresa Price Kaylee Pitts, Ann Redd, Debbie Reeves, Beannie Smith, Tricia Tullos, Ginger Upchurch, Kim Weeks and Charmaine Winpigler.
For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. They will make their home in Southaven.
The bride is employed at Mid-South Pulmonary Specialists, and the groom is employed at Smith and Nephew.

The bride was honored with a Christmas shower hosted by her aunts, Ann Graham, Carol Cooper and Nan Hathorn, all of Laurel, and Susan Dobbs of Petal at the Graham home.
The ladies of First Baptist Church of Sulligent hosted a miscellaneous tea.
The bride was honored with a miscellaneous shower at Immanuel Baptist Church of Vicksburg. Hosts were members of the Gertrude McMillin Sunday school class.
The bride was honored with a Breakfast at Tiffany’s shower hosted by Jaclyn Pomeroy and Susan Otten, both of Olive Branch, and Candace Cox of Southaven at the Pomeroy home.
