The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary has turned a romantic cliche into the theme of its fundraiser.

Affairs of the Heart, made possible through help and donations from the Vicksburg Theatre Guild, will be Friday and Saturday and will feature local entertainers.

“It will be the first of its kind for the women’s auxiliary,” said organizer JoBeth Britt, who is a member of the Salvation Army group and the VTG.

Entertainers for the event are donating their talents, volunteers from the theatre guild are donating their time and even the use of Parkside Playhouse, the VTG’s headquarters, is being donated.
