A Vicksburg man wanted by Georgia authorities for aggravated stalking was in the Warren County Jail today after deputies arrested him at his home, Sheriff Martin Pace said.
Gregory Stauts, 51, 409 Lakeside Drive, was picked up at 5:10 p.m. Thursday on a warrant from the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, Pace said.
Stauts was expected to have a hearing in justice court today to hear the formal charges and either waive extradition or request an extradition hearing, said the sheriff.
He was being held without bond.
