Frank Diggins Williams died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at his home. He was 61.

Mr. Williams was a self-employed carpenter and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by a son, Fredrick Chatman; his parents, Clinton Diggins and Rosie White Williams; and two brothers, James Percy Williams and Henry Williams.

He is survived by a son, Darylton Williams Sr. of Atlanta; a daughter, LeDora Williams of Houston, Texas; a brother, Major James of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; three sisters, Bessie Williams Stevenson, Ollie Mae Edwards and Annette Banks, all of Chicago; four grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives, including Carolyn Williams of Houston.
