The engagement of Beverly Chyanne Chambliss to Samuel Christopher Darnell, both of Vicksburg, is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 4 p.m. Nov. 26, 2011, at the McNutt House. A reception will follow. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Miss Chambliss is the daughter of Melvin Chambliss and Angela Ross, both of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Billie Prince and Martha Quinn, both of Vicksburg; Lamar Chambliss of Port Gibson; and Leon Wren of Crystal Springs.

Mr. Darnell is the son of Charlotte Posey and Marcus Posey, both of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of Billie Faye Watson and Harry Saxton, both of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Warren Central High School. She is attending the University of Phoenix and is manager at Holiday Inn Express.

The prospective groom is a diesel mechanic at Owen’s Diesel Service.
