ROLLING FORK — Lola Dean Gibson died Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was 67.
Mrs. Gibson was born in Philadelphia, Miss., and had been a Rolling Fork resident for the past 18 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Gibson; three sisters, Mary Miles, Wilma Pilgrim and Jean Grayewski; and three brothers, Jim Billings, Dickie Billings and Claude Billings.
Survivors include two sons, Daniel Turner of Fayetteville, N.C., and Richard Turner of Rolling Fork; one daughter, Polly Morang of Detroit; three sisters,, Ola Mae Holmes of Rolling Fork, Ruth Bates of Brumfield, Texas, and Pat Chipman of Ruston, La.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mounds Cemetery in Rolling Fork with the Rev. Clyde Pullen officiating. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Sunday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Turner, Bobby Graves, Bradon Turner, Ken Holmes and Tim Baker.
