Vicksburg police are asking for assistance in locating David M. Cupps, 53, an Ohio man who traveled here for work. He has not been seen since Monday at 4 p.m. Police believe he may have come in contact with a pair of escaped inmates from Louisiana. A Tennessee Highway Patrolman pulled over a car known to be Cupps’ rental near Jackson, Tenn. Two men in the car, believed to be the escapees, fled and are still at large. Information found in the car was tied to the two escapees.
