A city man was in the Warren County Jail this morning charged, with shooting into an occupied dwelling and eight counts of aggravated assault just after midnight today, Vicksburg police Lt. Bobby Stewart said.
Justin Williams, 24, 721 Adams St., is accused of shooting three rounds into his grandmother’s house on Oakland Street with a small-caliber pistol after getting into an argument with his mother around midnight, Stewart said. Williams fled the scene when police arrived but was picked up 45 minutes later at South and Farmer streets.
Seven adults and one child were in the home at the time of the shooting but no one was injured, Stewart said.
Williams was being held without bond pending an initial hearing.
