Peggy Lou O’Connor died Monday, March 7, 2011. She was 80.

A lifelong resident of Vicksburg, Ms. O’Connor was a 1948 graduate of Culkin Academy. She was of the Episcopal faith.

She worked at Kuhn Memorial State Hospital and the Warren County Health Department. She retired from Mississippi Power & Light Co. after 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert D. “Buck” and Rubye King O’Connor; and a sister, Joy O. Taccarino.

Survivors include a brother, Dr. R.D. “Buck” O’Connor of Jacksonville, Fla.; two nieces; and one nephew.
