Memorial services for Paul Ellis Nunnaly Barrett will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Dr. Robert Ford officiating.

Mr. Barrett died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, at Belmont Gardens. He was 85.

A native of Natchez, he attended Mississippi College after serving in the Navy during World War II and later in the Korean Conflict.

He worked as a clerk for the Dredge Jadwin before moving to the Office of Personnel for the Vicksburg District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. After his retirement, he was employed at Crawford Street United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin L. and Elise Carroll Barrett; two sisters, Alice Faye Polk and Frances B. Burt; and nine brothers, John Carroll Barrett, Benjamin L. Barrett Jr., infant Will Barrett, William Maurice Barrett, Gaines Gardner Barrett, Richard L. Barrett, Lawrence D. Barrett, T. Gerald Barrett and Ronald Joseph Barrett.

Survivors include a sister, Althea Barrett Murphy of Vicksburg; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Glenwood Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
