Vicksburg man charged in shooting on May 15

A Vicksburg man was charged Thursday in a shooting that left another man injured on May 15 at Waltersville Estates.
Keydrick Mitchell, 23, was arrested at his home at 1201 South St., Apt. 206, said Vicksburg police Sgt. Sandra Williams.
She said Mitchell, who was released on a $50,000 bond on the aggravated assault charge, is accused of firing shots during an argument with people in Waltersville.
The victim, Travis Bell, 21, was treated for a gunshot wound in the back at River Region Medical Center and released.
City man jailed in domestic assault
A Vicksburg man faces felony domestic violence charges after his girlfriend was assaulted during an argument at her home in the 100 block of Elizabeth Circle.
Vicksburg police Sgt. Sandra Williams said police arrested Mark Carver, 23, 162 Elizabeth Circle, about 3:54 a.m. today at the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Mission Park Drive. Carver was arrested several minutes after the argument occurred, she said.
Williams said Carver was being held without bond in the Warren County Jail pending an initial appearance in Vicksburg Municipal Court today.
County man jailed for cyber stalking
A Warren County man faces cyber stalking charges after his arrest Thursday by Warren County deputies.
Sheriff Martin Pace said Stephen W. Dunigan, 27, 160 Calvin Road, was being held without bond in the Warren County Jail pending an initial appearance in Warren County Justice Court.
Pace said Dunigan was arrested at his home after deputies received complaints from a woman who said she had been receiving threatening e-mails from him.
County man charged with forging checks
Warren County deputies on Thursday arrested Samuel Edwards, 19, 208 Lake Forest Drive, on a warrant accusing him with forgery, Sheriff Martin Pace said.
Pace said Edwards is accused in the warrant filed by a family member of stealing personal checks and cashing them at businesses in the county. He said Edwards was being held without bond in the Warren County Jail pending an initial appearance in justice court.
Cash, keys missing on Skyvale Drive
A water jug containing $1,000 in change and two sets of keys were reported stolen about 1:42 p.m. Thursday from a home in the 100 block of Skyvale Drive, Vicksburg police Sgt. Sandra Williams said.
