Louise W. Laird died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011, at River Region Medical Center. She was 86.

A native of Willisville, Tenn., she had made her home in Vicksburg since 1976.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thurman Laird in 1991.

Survivors include three daughters, Margaret Wentworth of Ponce de Leon, Fla., Marilyn Tildon of Pickens and Carolyn Dolan of Hattiesburg; three sons, John A. Laird of Vicksburg, Robert Conoway of Defuniak Springs, Fla., and Billy Conoway of Ponce de Leon; two sisters, Mary Barrett of Charlotte, N.C., and Hazle Bozzle of Rockport, Ill.; two brothers, Robert Willis of Dyersburg, Tenn., and Lloyd Willis of East St. Louis, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Strum officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Wednesday until the service.
