Jeremiah Riggs is down, but not out of wrestling entertainment.

The Vicksburg native, a retired mixed martial arts fighter and former Porters Chapel football player was the last elimination on Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment’s “Tough Enough” reality show on Monday.

Host Steve “Stone Cold” Austin announced Riggs’ ouster on Monday’s episode.

“I didn’t hold anything back,” Riggs said. “It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It was awesome and I took it for what it was. I had a hell of a good time doing it.”

The winner out of the two finallists, Andy Leavine and Luke Robinson, will be announced during Monday’s WWE Raw telecast.

Despite the loss, Riggs feels good about his future in the WWE. He felt he turned some heads and made a big impact despite not making it to the finals.

“I feel I’m in good standing with them,” Riggs said. “There’s no doubt in my mind. I’m going to work my way to the top. It would’ve been great if I won, but it’s a show. It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.”

While he was mum on his future due to contractual obligations, it likely won’t be the last of Riggs in the WWE.

“I’m not saying that I’m a first-class wrestler…yet,” Riggs said. “No one excelled there any faster than I did. Andy (Leavine) came from their developmental center and he couldn’t do half of what I did. But I feel that I’m going to be doing this for a long time.”

It wasn’t Riggs’ first foray into reality TV. He appeared on the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s “The Ultimate Fighter” in 2007 and was on VH1’s “Daisy of Love” in 2010.
