864 lose electricity after S. Frontage wreck

Power to 864 Entergy customers was restored early this morning after being out for more than three hours, spokesman Don Arnold said.
The outage, which affected residents on parts of South Frontage Road, Wisconsin Avenue and Bazinsky Road, started at 12:15 a.m. when a 2004 Dodge truck, driven by David Cobb, 29, 5 Candleberry Court, Savannah, Ga., hit a power pole in the 2000 block of South Frontage Road, Arnold said.
No injuries were reported from the wreck, Vicksburg police Sgt. Jackie Johnson said.
Power was restored to all affected customers by 3:23 a.m., Arnold said.
