Evidence gathered in the death of a Port Gibson woman has been sent to the state crime lab, Port Gibson Police Chief Calvin Jackson said this morning.
Dexter Watson, 41, 907 Vine St., remained held for questioning in the death of Patricia Dotson, 34, found Sunday morning behind First Baptist Church on Farmer Street. Watson has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
An autopsy showed Dotson, who police say was homeless, died of head trauma and stab wounds to the face.
