Back in 1997, when Angela Carpenter decided to pursue a law degree, she was looking at the challenge of balancing work, study and raising a young daughter.
“One of the reasons I chose the Mississippi College School of Law was because it was close,” said Carpenter, who has been an assistant district attorney for the Ninth Circuit Court District, which includes Warren County, since 2008.
“I obtained a master’s degree there for the same reason,” she said. “But also, when I read about Mississippi College, I was just very impressed with the credentials of the school. I felt it would be a very good place to challenge me. It was smaller and I knew I would get more one-on-one attention.”
