Mr. Carson marries Williams on Nov. 13

Darryl J. Carson and Nicole D. Williams were married at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 13, 2010, in a private ceremony. The Rev. Calvin T. Smothers officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Theodora L. Williams and Harold C. Lindsey, both of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Mable Linson and Laura Linzy of Vicksburg.

The groom is the son of Delores L. Nichols and the late Clarence Nichols of Vicksburg and Thomas Carson Sr. of San Francisco, Calif. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John L. Smith of Vicksburg. He is the great-grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Abe Carson.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

A reception followed at Loving’s Place.

The couple will make their home in Vicksburg. The bride is employed at Engineer Research and Development Center, and the groom is employed with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
