Anna Annie Turner died Thursday, March 10, 2011, at her home. She was 88.

Mrs. Turner was a member of Cherry Grove M.B. Church and the Rambling Rose Home Demonstration Club. She was retired from working for the Jewish Temple for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fireman Turner; her son, Richard Turner; three sisters, Mary Lomax, Martha Scott and Angeline West; and a brother, Dennis Lomax.

Survivors include two stepdaughters, Thelma West of Chicago and Clara Morgan of Vicksburg; a sister, Elvestra Morrison of Jackson; a niece; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
