A Vicksburg woman was released from the Warren County Jail Saturday after being arrested earlier in the day on a check fraud charge.

Kierstein N. Berry, 32, 646 Clark Road, was arrested by Vicksburg police at 10:27 a.m. at Rainbow Casino where she attempted earlier to cash a fake check, said Sgt. Sandra Williams of the Vicksburg Police Department.

Berry had cashed a check for $1,975 April 10 at the casino and was flagged by casino employees when she tried to cash another check Saturday, Williams said.

She was charged with felony false pretense and was released on a $5,000 bond.
