The steeple of First Presbyterian Church on Cherry Street stands in a blanket of fog that covered the city this morning. The fog, which moved in overnight, was just about burned off by about 8:30. The National Weather Service was forecasting this morning sunny skies throughout the weekend with temperatures rising into the low 80s.
