WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — Paul Kenneth Wilson died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, in Winter Haven, Fla. He was 71.
Mr. Wilson was born Sept. 6, 1940, in Doniphan, Mo., to Archie and Hallye Sheppard Wilson. He was a former resident of Cary, Miss., and was a row-crop farmer with his sons in the Mississippi Delta for more than 25 years. He lived in Houston, Texas, for a number of years and had been a Florida resident for 26 years.
He was a pilot and had retired from Orange Industrial Inc.
He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
He is survived by his wife, Delma Wilson of Winter Haven; three sons, Joseph A. Wilson of Winter Haven, Philip Wilson of Belle City, Mo., and Darick Wilson of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one daughter, April Wilson of Mission, Texas; three stepchildren, Sylvana Marcello of Beverly Hills, Calif., and Theron Marcello and Troy Marcello, both of Orlando, Fla.; four sisters, Lavonne Christian, Bonnie Atwood and Gladys Wondel, all of Missouri, and Norma Mosier of Kansas; two brothers, Ralph Boly of North Carolina and Robert Williams of San Antonio, Texas; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were at 10 a.m. today at Crisp-Coon Funeral Home in Winter Haven.
Memorials may be made to the Vincent De Paul Society “Walk For the Poor.”
