The Southern Cultural Heritage Center is planning a Social Media 101 workshop March 3.

From 10 to 11:30 a.m., software designer Joel Angle and senior business analyst Candace Merrick, both of Mav6, will lead the workshop on the basics of how to use free social media websites to advertise, plan events, know what activities are going on and stay in touch with friends and family. Wireless Internet will be provided. Class is limited, and reservations are required.
