VALLEY PARK — Edward W. Prince died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. He was 91.

Mr. Prince was born in Keiser, Ark., and moved to Vicksburg in 1956. He farmed until his retirement and was a member of the Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Prince; one brother; three sisters; a grandchild; and his parents, Robert and Mildred Prince.

Survivors include three sons, James Prince of Vicksburg, Gerald Prince of Valley Park and J.W. Prince of Little Rock, Miss.; one daughter, Cathy Porter of Valley Park; and six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at noon Saturday at Glenwood Funeral Home with James Rodney Porter officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Saturday until the service.

Pallbearers will be Mike Bland, Robbie Prince, John Prince, Virgil Clay, Dennis Childress and Bo Morrissey.
