Giffin elected to health board

Vicksburg physician Dr. Lee Giffin has been elected to the Information & Quality Healthcare Board of Directors for 2013.

The IQH serves as the Mississippi Medicare Quality Improvement Organization and assists health care providers in improving the quality of care for Medicare patients.

Giffin, a family practitioner, practices medicine at Mission Primary Clinic on Mission 66. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Medicine.

Sixteen health professionals from around the state were chosen to serve on the board.
