Vicksburg man held on Arizona drug charge

A Vicksburg man accused of transporting marijuana in Arizona was being held at Issaquena County Jail without bond this morning pending his initial court appearance.

Robert Fortune, 31, 319 Evergreen Drive, was arrested following a traffic stop at Clay and Farmer streets Friday at 8:06 p.m. While Fortune was stopped, the officer discovered an outstanding warrant from Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office in Arizona, Vicksburg police Capt. Bobby Stewart said.
