JEFFERSON, La. — Harold LeMonte “Halbo” Jones died Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Canon Hospice Center in Jefferson, La. He was 31.

Mr. Jones attended Warren Central High School. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wilson Bell Jones Sr.; and his maternal stepgrandfather, Johnnie Lee Davis.

Survivors include his mother, Ouida Jones of Vicksburg; his father and stepmother, Harold and Matilda Stewart, both of Vicksburg; a sister, Carol Stewart of Houston, Texas; his maternal grandmother, Lenora Hill Davis of Vicksburg; his paternal grandmother, Susie Mack of Bolton; his paternal grandfather, Eugene Mack of Vicksburg; and aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Clover Valley M.B. Church with the Rev. Phillip Burks officiating. Burial will follow at Henry Cemetery in Edwards. Visitation will be from noon until 6 p.m. Friday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with family present from 5 until 6.
