PORT GIBSON — Louise Buie died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at Patient Choice Hospital in Port Gibson. She was 91.

Mrs. Buie was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Mary Barnes Jenkins; her husband, Louis Buie; a son, Louis Buie Jr.; and one daughter, Loretta Buie.

She is survived by two sons, Charles Buie and Bobby Buie, both of Port Gibson; three daughters, Caldy Ann Buie of Chicago and Linda Parker and Brenda Carter, both of Port Gibson; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services will be at noon Saturday at Springhill Baptist Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Joseph Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Thompson Memorial Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 5 p.m. Friday at Thompson Funeral Home of Port Gibson and Saturday at the church from 11 a.m. until the service.
