Sales tax revenue

The City of Vicksburg receives 18.5 percent of all sales taxes collected by businesses in the city limits.

Revenues to the city lag actual sales tax collections by two months, that is, receipts for April reflect sales taxes collected on sales in February. Here are the latest monthly receipts:
