Services for Clara Mae Squire will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Redden officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation is tonight from 6 until 7 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Squire died Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, at her home. She was 93.

Mrs. Squire was a member of Mount Pisgah M.B. Church, where she was a church mother and a former choir member. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star. She was a retired private duty nurse.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Arnestta Squire; and her sister, Ruby Lee Alvareq.

Survivors include her husband, Albert Squire Sr. of Vicksburg; her son, Albert Squire Jr. of Hyattsville, Md.; her sister, Effie Pearl Gibson of Vicksburg; nieces, nephews, cousins and others including Capt. Albert Franklin Squire and Laura Ann Squire and members of the Brown, Bingham, Watson, Mack, Lewis and Cage families of Vicksburg.
