Services for William Gabriel Harris III will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bypass Church of Christ with Minister Oscar Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Thursday until the service.

Mr. Harris died Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at his home. He was 60.

He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Hattiesburg. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1973. He served in the Army and Army Reserves and retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 2006.
