District announces new Design chief

Glenda J. Hill has been named chief of the Design branch in the Engineering and Construction division at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District.
Hill will manage civil works engineering design activities for the District. She has worked for the District since 1980, most recently as assistant chief of Design.
Hill has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Mississippi State University. She is a registered professional engineer in Mississippi, and a member of the Society of Military Engineers.
She is a native of Mantachie and is married to Wayland D. Hill Jr. They have two children.
