Bobbie Lee Sanders

Bobbie Lee Sanders died Tuesday, May 21, 2014, at River Region Medical Center. She was 79.

Ms. Sanders was a member of First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Billy Jo Mays and Dorsey Mays Jr.

Survivors include five daughters; Diane Mays, Geraldine Mays and Earline Mays Jones all of Vicksburg, Bobbie Jean Mays of Atlanta and Maple Brown of Jackson; two sons, Willie Lee Mays of Vicksburg, and Charles Mays of Atlanta; one sister, Virgie Lee Sanders of Memphis, Tenn.; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014, at First Baptist Church, 1511½ Lane St. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lake Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
