Tamzella Smith died Friday, May 30, 2014, at Covenant Health and Rehab of Vicksburg. She was 59.

Ms. Smith was born Jan. 18, 1955, to the late Dinah Irene Smith and Milton Smith Sr. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Susie Williams; three brothers, Milton Smith Jr., Jerry Smith and Robert Smith; and one son, Cedric Ledale Smith.

She was a member of Travis Chapel A.M.E. Church, where she served as an usher and was on the Stewardess Board. She was a longtime employee of Anderson-Tully.

Survivors include her daughter, Dinah Rena Wood of Vicksburg; two sons, Gerald Glen Smith and Erick Smith, both of Vicksburg; two sisters, Theresa Smith and Josephine Smith, both of Vicksburg; four brothers, Kenny Ray Smith, Desi Smith, Marvin Smith and Tyler Smith, all of Vicksburg; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and aunts, one uncle, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including the Smith, Carr, Waters and Spates families.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday June 7, 2014, at Bethlehem MB Church with the Rev. Horace L. McKay officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home,
