More storage units reported burglarized

Two more storage units were reported burglaries Monday, and police believe they were broken into last week when eight units were burglarized on Indiana and Wisconsin avenues.
At 11:30 a.m., clothes valued at $500, hair accessories valued at $20 and costume jewelry valued at $100, a briefcase, and bins containing clothes and shoes were reported stolen from two units at Indiana Self Storage, 3040 Indiana Ave., Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.
The burglaries are believed to have occurred before last Tuesday when an assortment of items were reported stolen from units at the Indiana Avenue business and Wisconsin Avenue Mini-Storage, 3434 Wisconsin, Ave, Williams said.
Anyone with information about the burglaries is encouraged to call Central Mississippi Crime Stoppers at 601-355-8477. Callers remain anonymous and do not have to testify in court.
Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest of a felony suspect.
TV missing on Pemberton
A television was missing this morning following a burglary on Pemberton Street.
At 9 a.m. Monday, a 55-inch television was reported stolen from a home in the 100 block of Pemberton Street, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.
The burglary is the second reported on the block since Sunday.
At 8 p.m. Sunday, two televisions and other electronics were reported stolen from a home there, Williams has said.
Pemberton Street connects Sky Farm Avenue with Zollinger Hill, south of Cedar Hill Cemetery.
