BROOKHAVEN — Services for Charles Larry McGraw will be 1 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2014, at Topsaw Baptist Church.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, and Friday from 11:30 to 1 p.m. at Topisaw. Burial will be at McGraw Family Cemetery.

Mr. McGraw, 60, of Ruth, went to be with his Lord and Savior, on June 8, 2014. He passed away at Methodist Medical Center in Houston, Texas. He was born Jan. 1, 1954, to Charles E. McGraw and Sarah Joyce Brister McGraw.

He was retired from Grand Gulf Nuclear Station as a mechanical maintenance supervisor and was a member of Topisaw Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 413 and Boilermaker Unions No. 110 and No. 582.

Preceding him in death was his father, Charles E. McGraw; father-in-law, Willie Nick Raiford; mother-in-law, Veda Grace Raiford; and a brother-in-law, Mann Raiford.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Nicki Raiford McGraw; two sons, Landon McGraw and wife Becky, and Whit McGraw and wife Melana; one daughter, Mia McGraw Thames and husband Sam; his mother, Sarah Joyce McGraw; a brother, Joey “Shine” McGraw and wife Ann; two sisters, Judy McGraw Burns and husband Clyde, and Missy McGraw Morgan and husband Stan; three grandchildren, Cameron Thames, Adelyn McGraw and Marcy McGraw; a brother-in-law, Ronald Raiford and wife Stacie; nieces and nephews; and his dog Rex.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Methodist Hospital Transplant Center, 6565 Fannin Street, Houston, TX 77030.
