A Vicksburg man accused of felony marijuana possession was in jail Saturday night.

Courtney Johnson, 22, 109 Greenview Drive, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of Cypress Centre Boulevard and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, Vicksburg police Lt. Troy Kimble said.

Police were responding to a domestic disturbance when they discovered Johnson had more than an ounce of marijuana that was individually bagged for distribution, Kimble said.

A gun, and a set of digital scales were also recovered from his vehicle, Kimble said.

Johnson was held in the Issaquena County Correctional Facility in lieu of $35,000 bail.
