A couple of late-inning rallies brought an early end to the Mississippi Braves’ winning streak.
Luis Flores tied the game with a two-run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning, and Jae-Hoon Ha delivered a game-winning ground-rule double in the 10th to lift the Tennessee Smokies to an 8-7 victory Tuesday night.
The M-Braves scored in each of the first five innings, but couldn’t hold a 7-3 lead and had their two-game winning streak snapped.
Jose Peraza went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored for his seventh multiple-hit night in his last 11 games. Charles Cutler, Dustin Geiger and Flores all homered for Tennessee.
