Memorial Services for James Louis Wesley Green will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph Briscoe officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to either the American Cancer Society or to Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland, MS.

Mr. Green died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, at Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland. He was 68.

He was retired from Cooper Lighting and was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the St. Mark Freewill Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Eliza Richardson Green; and his brother, Harold McWade Sr.

Survivors include three sisters, Sherry Fisher and Rosemary Spears, both of Vicksburg, and Dollie White of Chicago; a brother in law, Albert Spears of Vicksburg; nieces and nephews, Kawmi Fisher of Birmingham of Ala., Harold McWade Jr. of Clinton, Shawn Spears of San Antonio, Texas, Kimberly Carter of Atlanta, Shirley Fisher Gray of Vicksburg, and Darrel Fisher of Monroe, La.; and other nieces, nephews and cousins.
