A look at how players from Vicksburg-area high schools did in college football games played over the weekend

• Kentucky safety A.J. Stamps (Vicksburg High) had five solo tackles and one assist in a 36-30, triple overtime loss to Florida.

• Mississippi State punter Devon Bell (Warren Central) averaged 46.2 yards on six punts in a 35-3 win over South Alabama. Bell also had four touchbacks on six kickoffs.

• Ole Miss offensive lineman Talbot Buys (Porters Chapel Academy) saw his first playing time for the Rebels in a 56-15 romp over Louisiana-Lafayette.

• Louisiana Tech cornerback Adairius Barnes (Port Gibson) had one assist, one-half tackle for loss, and one pass breakup in a 42-21 win over North Texas.

• Southern Miss offensive lineman Norman Price (Vicksburg High) saw playing time in a 52-12 loss to No. 3 Alabama.

• Albany State offensive lineman Danny Bunch (Warren Central) started at left tackle in a 20-12 loss to Tuskegee.

• Mississippi College running back Darius Youngblood (Vicksburg High) played, but did not have a carry, in a 58-0 loss to North Alabama.
