The engagement of Courtney Leigh Stinespring and Jacob Seth Mathew Rachal, both of Vicksburg, is announced today.

Miss Stinespring is the daughter of Pam Aycock and George Stinspring, both of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Mary Simmons and Robert Simmons and the late George and Maybelle Stinespring.

Mr. Rachal is the son of Robert Rachal and Tabitha VanDusen of Louisiana. He is grandson of Roger and Mary Rachal, Sue Holliday and the late LeRoy Holliday.

The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Porter’s Chapel Academy where she was a varsity cheerleader, member of the key club, and national honor society. She attended Hinds Community College. She is a Medical Assistant at Premier Medical Weight Loss.

The prospective groom is a 2009 graduate of Porter’s Chapel Academy where he was a member of varsity football, basketball, baseball, track, national honor society, and key club. He attended Hinds Community College. He is employed at The Crossings Apartments in maintenance.

Vows will be exchanged at 5 p.m. Oct. 25, 2014 at Wilsonwood Lodge with a reception to follow on site.
